Law Director

The Law Director, Douglas O’Meara, serves as the legal representative and advisor to the City of Dover. He is in constant contact with the mayor and City Council to provide guidance for all legal issues appearing in civic offices including contracts, ordinance, litigation, court cases and all other issues concerning the law.

When requested, the Law Director also gives his opinion concerning the legal powers and duties of the mayor and City Council.
