Memorial Hall is open seven days a week from 7:30 am to 11:00 pm, except for holidays.

Memorial Hall has a gym which is used for City leagues (women's volleyball, co-ed volleyball, men's church volleyball, women's church volleyball, co-ed church volleyball) in the fall of the year. The gym can also be rented for individuals to use for basketball or volleyball. The fee is $20.00 for one and a half hours . The building also has a dining room which includes use of the kitchen that can be rented for $100.00 for the first two hours of the party and $35.00 for each additional hour. At Memorial Hall, alcohol can be served but not sold with an additional cost of $125.00 for a police officer for security. A $75.00 deposit is required which is refunded if there is no damage to the building. The dining room can hold 200 people with tables and chairs that can be used at no cost.
Picnic Shelters
The City has four shelters that are under roof. These can be reserved from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Cost is $15.00 for half of a shelter which seats about 50 people, or a whole shelter for $25.00 which seats about 100 people. Shelter reservations start on the first working day in January of each year at 7:30 am at the front door of Memorial Hall, 410 N. Wooster Ave., Dover, Ohio.
Swimming Pool
The pool opens the Saturday before Memorial Day and closes on Labor Day. Admission fees are $2.00 per person, kids five and under free and seniors 60 years and older, free. Pool hours are Mon-Thurs. 11 AM - 8:30PM, Fri-Sat-Sun
11AM - 6PM.
Swimming pool party rental availability begins approximately the third weekend of June and continues through approximately the second weekend of August. Rentals are on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Cost is $70.00. Rental reservations are accepted beginning the Monday before Memorial Day at 7:30 am. Line forms at the front door of Memorial Hall, 410 N. Wooster Ave., Dover, Ohio.
May first of each year in the Times-Reporter is a brochure with all the classes that are offered for the summer.
The City also offers summer leagues for men's softball, co-ed softball, men's, women's and co-ed bocce.
